Retail Alcoholic Beverage Licenses

Beer and Liquor Licenses are obtained through the Power County Clerk’s Office.

Requirements:

  • You must get obtain a state liquor license FIRST, bring the original state liquor license to the Power County Recorder’s Office (a copy must be made for Power County before the license can be issued).
  • Beer and liquor license applications are approved at the meetings of the Commissioners held on the second and fourth Monday of each month. Each applicant may also be subject to a law enforcement investigation. This process could take as long as two (2) weeks to get approval. Please allow sufficient time before your current license expires.
  • You may pick up your Power County Retail Alcoholic Beverage License application from the Power County Clerk’s Office beforehand or click here for an online form that may be completed (Please print application, sign and deliver to the Power County Clerk’s Office).

Alcoholic Beverage License Fees

  • $25.00 – Bottled or Canned Beer not to be consumed on the premises.
  • $75.00 – Bottled or Canned Beer to be consumed on the premises.
  • $100.00 – Draft Beer and Bottled or Canned Beer.
  • $60.00 – Wine
  • $187.50 – Liquor License (wine is included in this liquor license)
 

IDAHO LIQUOR CATERING PERMIT

Requirements:

  • A notarized letter from licensee authorizing applicant to use their license.
  • A copy of the state license.
  • The fee for a catering permit is $20.00 per day (limit three (3) days).
  • After licensee fills out and signs the permit, it will be submitted to the Power County Commissioners and Sheriff for their approval.
  • Please allow at least two (2) weeks to process.
 

TRANSFER OF LIQUOR LICENSE

Requirements:

  • A copy of the state license.
  • Transfer fees are $10.00.
  • After licensee fills out and signs the application, it will be submitted to the Power County Commissioners for their approval.
